YELLOW SEA (April 1, 2010) Navy Diver 3rd Class Andrew Kornelsen, a Madison, Wis. native assigned to Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit (MDSU) ONE, replaces a nozzle on a scuba tank aboard the Military Sealift Command rescue and salvage ship USNS Salvor (ARS 52). U.S. Navy forces are preparing to assist the Republic of Korea (ROK) in search, recovery, and salvage efforts for the ROK Navy frigate Cheonan, which sank March 27 in the Yellow Sea near the western sea border with North Korea.
